Rick’s Seafood House

Rick’s Seafood has always been a family favorite. That ended this week. While we were waiting for our food, a Chinese family came in using a translation app to place their order. Instead of simply helping them, the man behind the counter said, “Turn the phone around. Aren’t you late for your flight?” He then turned around, repeated the comment to the people working in the back, and they all laughed. My heart literally sank. We got our food, walked outside, and I started tearing up because I couldn’t believe what I had just witnessed. I’m posting this because I think others deserve to know about the experience we witnessed. I don’t know if the man behind the counter was the owner or an employee, but I can only speak to what I personally saw and heard. To me, the comment came across as a racist stereotype, and the laughter afterward made it even worse. I cannot and will not support a business where something like that happens.

No trip to Wildwood is complete without a trip to Rick’s! My family raves about the seafood but for those who aren’t seafood lovers, the chicken parm is absolutely delicious!!

Rick’s has friendly staff who remember their returning customers by name. Staff is always willing to please the customer. Food is fresh and they even go the extra mile to pack food well for the long haul to Pa. Suggest to call early in the day to place your orders.

Ricks is our go to place for seafood… You can’t go wrong with ordering dinner from the beach and picking up on your way home. We also pick up fresh fish, scallop and shrimp or and crab cakes to cook or grill at home. I also bring shrimp cocktail to most family functions. We love ricks !

Ricks seafood has always gone above and beyond my expectations when ordering dinner for my family!! Fresh seafood, ample portions, great prices and friendly service keep us coming back all year long!!

We love ricks! We have been ordering from them since I was a kid and they never disappoint. Now as an adult with my own family it is a summer tradition to get ricks. We also are down in the winter with friends and now they love it and ask me when we can have ricks ! Amazing people there. No complaints about anything!!!
